Born and raised in Martin, TN, Samuel Ray Freeman has been with Wendell Alexander Realty since 2019. As an affiliate broker, Sam handles all types of real estate transactions but has a particular passion for land sales. 

Sam loves helping others with one of the biggest purchases of their lives, working hard to make the process as smooth as possible for every client. Known for his availability and responsiveness, he reminds clients to “leave a message” if he doesn’t answer immediately—he’s always on the phone and will call back. 

Sam takes pride in serving the community he loves, sharing that the small-town feel and the way people look out for each other are what make Martin home for him. He wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. 

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his kids and supporting them in their activities, as well as following the teams his wife helps coach. He’s known for going the extra mile for clients, whether it’s ensuring a purchase is stress-free or using his height to check the tops of refrigerators and test how sturdy floors are during property tours. 

Sam graduated from Westview High School in 2003 and earned his degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2007.
